About the Opportunity We are seeking highly qualified NPs and PAs to join our established health system’s emergency medicine and urgent care group. You will play an integral role in our care teams by providing exceptional care to a diverse range of patients across multiple locations in Wisconsin. What You’ll Do Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments in both emergency and urgent care settings. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with low to moderate acuity levels. Perform a wide range of bedside clinical procedures, ensuring patient safety and well-being. Interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, x-rays, and lab results to inform treatment decisions. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care. Provide patient education and counseling to promote health and wellness. Document medical records accurately and thoroughly to ensure clear communication for all healthcare providers involved. Who You Are Certified as either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or post-master’s certificate with a Nurse Practitioner specialization (required for NPs). Active Wisconsin medical license (RN & APN/PA in Medicine) is mandatory. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license or the ability to obtain one prior to or upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and advanced life support certifications relevant to your practice area (ACLS, ATLS, PALS) are highly valued.
