You will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe and effective anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures within our well-equipped hospital setting. Working collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, a dedicated CRNA, and other healthcare professionals, you’ll contribute to a smooth and efficient surgical experience for all patients. Why Choose Us? Who You Are Board certified (BC) in Anesthesiology. Active Iowa medical license (or eligibility for expedited licensure through IMLC) is mandatory. A passion for anesthesiology, a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. You possess strong clinical skills and experience managing a diverse range of surgical anesthesia cases, including general, pediatric (primarily ENT), obstetric, neurologic, and some thoracic procedures. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with patients, families, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
