Locum Tenens Vascular and Interventional Radiologist Needed near Gwinn, MI (j-227576) Are you a motivated and experienced Vascular and Interventional Radiologist seeking a locum tenens opportunity to contribute to exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting? We’re seeking a qualified physician to join our team and provide a comprehensive range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures for patients of all ages. What You’ll Do: Perform a variety of image-guided vascular and interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy, angiography, and other imaging modalities. Utilize your expertise to diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular and non-vascular conditions through minimally invasive techniques. Collaborate with referring physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement safe and effective treatment plans for patients. Assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions requiring your expertise. Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and provide accurate and timely reports. Maintain meticulous documentation within the McKesson and Athena electronic medical record systems. Foster a positive and professional work environment. Enjoy a predictable schedule with no call responsibilities, working Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This assignment offers flexibility to start as soon as possible and can extend on an ongoing basis. Qualifications: Active medical license in the state of Michigan (MI only). Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (preferred). Current ACLS certification. Minimum of 30 days for credentialing (temporary privileges may be available). Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive knowledge base in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, with expertise in a variety of image-guided procedures. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions. Additional Information: Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing (assignment begins July 29, 2024) Coverage includes major holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, etc.) with a no-call schedule.
