Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice (Near Oak Harbor, WA) Are you a motivated Family Nurse Practitioner seeking a dynamic locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Oak Harbor, WA? We’re seeking a qualified and experienced provider to join our team and provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This is a locum tenens position with a start date as soon as credentialing is complete, offering a 3-month contract with the possibility to extend. What We Offer: Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week) with an unpaid lunch break. Optional Saturday hours available for overtime pay. Patient Care: Be prepared to see up to 18 patients per day, with potential for more depending on cancellations. We require a Nurse Practitioner comfortable with a high-volume environment and experience working with all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. Supportive Staff: Each provider benefits from a dedicated medical assistant, with access to receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and on-site pediatricians. A local healthcare administrator will handle your timecards. Diverse Patient Population: We serve a thriving community with a significant migrant and refugee population. Interpretive services are available on-site. While fluency in another language is a plus, it is not required. Technology: We utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for efficient patient care. Procedures: You will perform common procedures like injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.
