Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician (Near Highland City, FL) Are you a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician seeking an exciting locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Highland City, FL? We’re looking for skilled and experienced physicians to join our team and provide high-quality care at our brand new freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs) opening Summer 2024. This is a locum tenens position with a 3-month contract (with the possibility to extend) and offers the chance to be part of a groundbreaking initiative. Advanced Technology & Facilities: Utilize the efficient Meditech P-doc EMR system for streamlined patient documentation and M-Modal Dictation software for efficient charting. Our FSEDs will be equipped with cutting-edge imaging technology including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology. Seamless Care Integration: Patients requiring inpatient admission will be seamlessly transferred to the main hospital campus for continued care by our exceptional team of intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists. Flexible Scheduling: We offer schedule flexibility to accommodate your needs, with opportunities for both day, night, and weekend shifts. The main hospital campus may consider less than 12-hour shifts, while the FSEDs require 12-hour shifts. Qualifications: Board-certified in Emergency Medicine (MD or DO) by ABEM or AOBEM required Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families in stressful situations Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies, including critical care scenarios Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills Clean background check and no malpractice history Flexibility to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends) Openness to working at both the main hospital campus and affiliated FSEDs (preference) Additional Information: This location offers a unique opportunity to practice medicine in a growing community near Highland City, FL.
