Locum Tenens: Radiation Oncologist (Near Bullhead City, AZ) Are you a dedicated and experienced Radiation Oncologist seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a vibrant community near Bullhead City, AZ? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated physician to join our team and provide high-quality radiation therapy services to patients in a dedicated outpatient setting (ASAP – Ongoing). This locum tenens position offers the flexibility of scheduled clinical hours only, allowing you to manage your workload effectively while contributing to exceptional patient care. We anticipate ongoing needs for vacation coverage, typically requiring 3 weeks per year. Advanced Technology & Resources: Utilize the MEDHOST electronic medical record (EMR) system to enhance efficiency in documentation and communication. Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates): We understand the importance of timely care and are happy to facilitate temporary privileges while your permanent Arizona (AZ) license is finalized (within 45 days for qualified applicants). Qualifications: Board certification in Radiation Oncology with a fellowship is required. Active medical license in Arizona (AZ) only is mandatory. Current certification in BLS is essential. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical Radiation Oncology setting is preferred. The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
