Make a Difference in a Rural Community (3 Months or More): Contribute to a vital healthcare setting by providing essential primary care services, including: Preventative care (e.g., annual physicals, immunizations) Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) Acute illness treatment (e.g., colds, infections) Women’s health services Minor procedures (e.g., injections, IUD placement) Build trusting relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds, including migrant and refugee populations, utilizing on-site interpretation services when needed. Play a key role in delivering high-quality healthcare to underserved communities. Streamlined Schedule & Efficient Operations: Maintain a consistent daytime schedule (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with a dedicated hour for lunch, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Saturday hours are available for those seeking overtime opportunities. Enjoy a collaborative work environment with dedicated support staff, including medical assistants, mental health therapists, dietitians, and potentially an on-site pediatrician. Supportive Environment & Streamlined Technology: Benefit from a comprehensive one-week orientation followed by hands-on training to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Utilize the user-friendly EPIC electronic medical record system for efficient documentation and streamlined workflows. We are open to considering NP applicants who can commit to a minimum of three days per week, especially if they are local and do not require housing assistance. Qualifications: Board certification as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner is mandatory. An active Washington state license is required. We cannot consider non-licensed candidates. A current DEA registration for the state of Washington is necessary. Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications are preferred. We can discuss specific requirements during the credentialing process. A minimum of two years of experience as a Family Practice NP with recent patient contact (within the past year) is required. A clean background check and a malpractice-free history are mandatory.
