Advanced Technology: Utilize the eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical record system to streamline documentation and communication. What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care to a variety of patients, including stroke interventions. Perform surgery, manage patient care pre-operatively and post-operatively. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Oversee patient care during call shifts, ensuring timely intervention and patient safety. Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the eCW electronic medical records system. Who You Are: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification in Neurosurgery (BC) (required). Current and active license to practice medicine in Virginia (required). DEA/CSR certifications and BCLS and ACLS certifications (required). A minimum of 200 neurosurgical case logs within the last 24 months (required). A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
