Supportive & Efficient Work Environment: Benefit from a flexible OR schedule with block time assignments, collaborate with experienced physician assistants and surgical staff, and utilize a fully digital radiology department. What You’ll Do: Manage emergency department call as needed, primarily consulting on bread-and-butter cases; complex patients are typically transferred. Conduct comprehensive consultations and examinations in the outpatient setting to diagnose and develop treatment plans for orthopaedic conditions. Perform surgical procedures, with a focus on total joint replacements, in a collaborative and efficient operating room environment. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions for both inpatients and outpatients. Collaborate with physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in the MediTech electronic medical record system. Who You Are: Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. Current and active license to practice medicine in Michigan (MI only). Strong clinical skills and experience in managing a variety of orthopaedic conditions, including fractures, sports injuries, and proficiency in total joint replacements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability and flexibility to work within a call coverage schedule and an outpatient setting.
