What You’ll Do: Manage all aspects of patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) during the night shift (7 pm – 7 am). Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform and interpret a variety of diagnostic procedures to guide patient care decisions. Provide clear and concise communication with patients, families, and other healthcare providers regarding patient status and treatment plans. Document all patient care activities accurately and efficiently within the Epic electronic medical records system. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in critical care medicine and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. Who You Are: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine in the state of New Mexico (only). Board-certified in Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Surgery (ABS), American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), or American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (required). Current ACLS certification (required). BLS certification (required). A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. The ability to work independently while also functioning effectively within a team environment.
