We are actively searching for a skilled and experienced CRNA to join our team and provide short-term support to accommodate increased surgical volume over a five-day period. Focus on Outpatient Anesthesia: Dedicate your expertise to providing safe and effective anesthesia care for adult patients undergoing a variety of procedures within a dynamic outpatient setting. Diverse Caseload: Expand your clinical experience by providing anesthesia support in our two operating rooms and one procedure room, encompassing specialties like orthopedics, spine, general surgery, pain management, podiatry, and urology. Predictable Schedule: Enjoy a set schedule with no call requirements, allowing you to manage your time effectively during this short-term engagement. What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments for adult patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Administer a variety of anesthesia techniques, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC), to facilitate surgical procedures effectively. Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and respond to intraoperative emergencies to maintain patient well-being throughout the surgical process. Provide post-anesthetic care and recovery support, ensuring a smooth transition for patients following surgery. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical team members to promote patient safety and a positive surgical experience. Who You Are: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia (required). Current and active license to practice in Arizona (only). National Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) (required). Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required). Competency in performing nerve blocks (required). A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered anesthesia care in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills to ensure patient safety and respond effectively to intraoperative emergencies.
