Locum Tenens: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) (Near Orick, CA) Are you a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a vibrant community near Orick, CA? We’re seeking a skilled and motivated CRNA to join our team and provide high-quality anesthesia services in a dynamic inpatient setting (ASAP – Ongoing, with potential for long-term coverage). This locum tenens position offers a temporary assignment with the possibility of extending into a permanent role. You’ll enjoy a predictable schedule with no on-call requirements, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care during your time with us. What We Offer: Rewarding & Specialized Practice: Utilize your expertise in administering general, regional, and spinal anesthesia, including central line placement, to support a variety of surgical procedures in a supportive inpatient setting. We see a significant volume of pediatric patients, so experience with children is a plus. Flexible & Predictable Schedule: Benefit from a Monday-Friday schedule with no overnight call, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance (specific shift times are typically 7:00 am – 3:30 pm). The initial assignment covers August 19-29, 2024, with potential adjustments based on internal coverage options. Supportive Team Collaboration: Work alongside a dedicated team of surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care for your patients. Advanced Technology & Resources: Utilize the user-friendly Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system to enhance efficiency in documentation and communication. Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates): We understand the importance of timely care and are happy to assist with the credentialing process (estimated timeframe of 90 days). Qualifications: Active California (CA) license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is mandatory. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an inpatient anesthesia setting is preferred. Experience with pediatrics is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency in administering general, regional, and spinal anesthesia, including central line placement. The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, patients, and the healthcare team.
