Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage (j-227373) Seeking a Qualified and Experienced CRNA in Texas! Do you thrive in a collaborative and friendly environment? This locum tenens opportunity offers the chance to: Make a Difference: Contribute your expertise to a supportive team in a busy inpatient setting. Full-Time Schedule: Work full-time hours with a flexible schedule (M-F, with some weekend coverage possible). Predictable Workload: See approximately 10 patients per day and manage an average of 2 calls while on-call. Variety of Cases: Gain experience with a broad range of procedures including orthopedic, general, pediatric, plastic, ENT, and gynecological surgeries. Collaborative Environment: Work within a care team model that fosters collaboration and open communication. Ongoing Opportunity: Establish a long-term locum tenens relationship with the potential to extend beyond the initial commitment (minimum 3 weeks per month). Key Responsibilities: Provide general anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain a high standard of patient safety and satisfaction. Document procedures accurately and efficiently within the Cerner EMR system. Qualifications: Active Texas license to practice as a CRNA. National certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting. Experience with general anesthesia across various surgical specialties (orthopedic, general, pediatric, plastic, ENT, and gynecological). Strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to patient safety. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. About the Role: Schedule: Full-time, M-F with some weekend coverage possible. 10-hour shifts preferred, but negotiable.
