Locum Tenens: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) (Near Glidden, WI) Are you a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Glidden, WI? We’re actively searching for a skilled CRNA to join our team and provide vital anesthesia services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings (ASAP – Ongoing). This locum tenens position offers a blend of scheduled clinical hours and predictable call coverage, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team in a well-equipped facility featuring Drager anesthesia machines, Omnicell medication dispensing systems, and Cerner EMR. What We Offer: Rewarding & Specialized Practice: Utilize your expertise as a CRNA to administer various anesthesia techniques, including general anesthesia, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and anesthesia for elective surgical procedures. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process (pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative). Full-Time Coverage with Predictable Call: We’re seeking a CRNA for full-time coverage, including in-house call. This allows you to establish a consistent routine while contributing to exceptional patient care. Supportive Team Collaboration: Partner with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care for our surgical patients. Advanced Technology & Resources: Utilize Drager anesthesia machines, Omnicell medication dispensing systems, and the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system to enhance efficiency and patient safety. Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates): We understand the importance of timely care and are happy to assist with facilitating temporary privileges for qualified applicants with a clean history (estimated timeframe of 60 days). Qualifications: Certified by the American Board of Certification (ABCN) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is mandatory. Active medical license in good standing is required. Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS are essential. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an inpatient and/or outpatient anesthesia setting is preferred. Proficiency in epidural anesthesia techniques and comfortable with independent practice. The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
