Locum Tenens: Advanced Practice Provider (Emergency Medicine) (Near Kyle, TX) Are you a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Emergency Medicine seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Kyle, TX? We’re looking for skilled and motivated APPs to join our team and provide high-quality care to patients experiencing acute medical emergencies (ASAP – Ongoing). This locum tenens position offers the chance to make a real difference in a dynamic environment, with the flexibility to work across multiple locations within our healthcare network. What We Offer: Fast-Paced & Rewarding Environment: Play a vital role in our high-acuity Emergency Departments (EDs), providing timely and compassionate care to a diverse patient population. We offer opportunities at both our main hospital campus and affiliated Freestanding Emergency Rooms (FSERs). Schedule Flexibility: We acknowledge the demand for work-life balance and offer a flexible schedule to accommodate your preferences. Shifts range from less than 12 hours at the main hospital campus to 12-hour shifts at the FSERs. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to determine your schedule, ensuring coverage across all locations. Supportive Team Collaboration: Work alongside a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care for patients in need. Practice Autonomy & Growth: This role allows you to utilize your clinical expertise and decision-making skills in a collaborative environment, fostering your professional development. Advanced Technology & Resources: Utilize state-of-the-art medical equipment and technology to facilitate efficient diagnosis and treatment for patients with a high volume of emergency cases. Qualifications: Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) National Emergency Medicine certification (e.g., CEN, PA-C) required Active Texas license to practice as an APP Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced emergency medicine setting preferred Proven clinical expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team A commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality, patient-centered care Flexibility to work across various locations within our network (main hospital and FSERs) Additional Information: This location offers a unique opportunity to practice Emergency Medicine as an APP in a growing community near Kyle, TX.
