We are actively searching for a skilled and experienced physician to join our team and provide long-term support for our Emergency Department (ED) due to recent changes in healthcare coverage within the region. High-Volume Emergency Care: Provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of medical emergencies, exceeding 20,000 patient visits annually. What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and stabilize patients presenting with a variety of acute illnesses and injuries within the Emergency Department. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for emergency cases. Utilize your clinical expertise to perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed. Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies to facilitate accurate diagnoses. Provide clear communication and patient education throughout the emergency care process. Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Cerner electronic medical records system. Who You Are: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine (no state restrictions mentioned). Board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) (required). Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications (required). A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and dynamic emergency department setting. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills to manage a high volume of patients with complex medical emergencies.
