You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies. Working alongside a dedicated team of nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals, you’ll ensure timely and effective interventions for every patient who enters our doors. The Emergency Department This dynamic emergency department offers a fast-paced and rewarding environment with the following features: Approximately 11,500 anticipated annual patient visits, ensuring you’ll stay engaged and challenged. 24-hour physician coverage, guaranteeing consistent and seamless patient care around the clock. 12 private exam rooms, providing a comfortable and confidential space for patient evaluations. A designated trauma room equipped to handle critical injuries efficiently. On-site diagnostic imaging services, including CT scanner, ultrasound, and x-ray, allowing for immediate and accurate diagnoses. On-site laboratory services, enabling swift results for prompt treatment decisions. Who You Are Board certified in Emergency Medicine (BC/EM) or board certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience. Active Florida medical license is mandatory. A passion for emergency medicine and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care are essential. You possess strong clinical skills and experience managing a diverse range of medical emergencies. Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are necessary for making critical decisions under pressure. Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team. The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team is a must in this fast-paced environment.
