Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician (Near Brownsville, TX) Are you a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Brownsville, TX? We’re looking for skilled and experienced physicians to join our team and provide high-quality care at our brand new Freestanding Emergency Room (FER). This is a locum tenens position with a flexible schedule (ASAP – Ongoing) and offers the chance to be part of a groundbreaking initiative. Fast-Paced & Rewarding Environment: Experience a dynamic setting with a projected patient volume of 11,000 annually. Our FER operates 24/7, ensuring continuous access to emergency care for the community. Physician-Led Care: Benefit from a robust physician coverage model with 24 hours of physician oversight daily. Flexible Schedule & Supportive Team: We offer a flexible schedule with up to 120 hours per month available. Work alongside a team of Advanced Practice Providers who provide additional support to manage daily patient surges. Broad Physician Eligibility: Board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians (MD or DO) are preferred (ABEM or AOBEM). However, we will also consider Board-eligible or Board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with demonstrably relevant emergency medicine experience.
