Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine Physician – Near BROWNSVILLE, TX Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing We are seeking a highly motivated emergency medicine physician to join our team in a freestanding emergency room near BROWNSVILLE, TX. This locum tenens position offers the flexibility of working up to 120 hours per month on 12-hour shifts. Specialty: Emergency Medicine Practice Setting: Freestanding Emergency Room Annual Patient Volume: 14,000 Shift Length: 12 hours Coverage: 24/7 physician coverage Minimum Qualifications: Board-eligible/certified in Emergency Medicine, or Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience About the Opportunity Are you an emergency medicine physician seeking a locum tenens position with a high patient volume and the ability to control your schedule? Meets the minimum qualifications of being board-eligible/certified in Emergency Medicine, or board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience. Possesses current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS certifications. Demonstrates experience in a fast-paced emergency medicine setting, effectively managing a high volume of patients with diverse medical needs. Exhibits strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to foster a positive and productive working environment.
