What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages within the outpatient setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, focusing on preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to facilitate accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications and manage patient medications effectively. Provide patient education and counseling on various health topics. Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the NextGen electronic medical records system. Who You Are: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a national family nurse practitioner (FNP) certification (required). Current and active license to practice nursing in New Mexico (only). A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented primary care setting. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities to manage a diverse patient population in the outpatient setting.
