Locum Tenens: Gastroenterology Physician (Near Deanville, TX) Are you a dedicated Gastroenterology Physician looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a dynamic community near Deanville, TX? We are seeking a highly qualified physician to join our team and provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. This locum tenens position offers an ongoing contract starting as soon as credentialing is complete, with the potential for extension. What We Offer: Schedule: Full-time coverage needed, including 24/7 call coverage Monthly coverage requirements for one provider 8 hours of work before call-back included in rates Patient Care: Daily patient volume: 10 patients Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Ensure high-quality patient care and manage a variety of gastroenterological conditions Supportive Team: Work alongside experienced medical staff and support personnel Collaborative work environment with a focus on patient-centered care State-of-the-Art Facilities: Utilize the MediTech electronic medical record (EMR) system for efficient patient management Access to modern medical technology and equipment to support high-quality care Travel & Compensation: Competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits Travel expenses covered, including flight, rental car/mileage, and lodging Malpractice insurance provided Qualifications: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Gastroenterology State License: Active Texas medical license required Experience: Must have ERCP experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience in gastroenterology preferred Skills: Proficiency in gastroenterology procedures, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) Strong clinical and decision-making skills Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Information: This location offers a unique work-life balance with access to beautiful landscapes, cultural attractions, and outdoor activities.
