We are actively searching for three skilled providers to join our team and perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments. This unique position offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of veterans while maintaining a flexible schedule that suits your needs: Support Our Veterans: Contribute to the well-being of veterans by performing C&P exams and Separation Health Assessments, ensuring fair and accurate disability compensation determinations. Flexible Work Options: Choose from two coverage options: travel to designated facilities for exams or schedule veterans within your own established practice, allowing you to integrate this opportunity into your existing workflow. Part-Time or Full-Time Availability: Maintain a work-life balance with the option to work half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) on a PRN (as-needed) basis. Streamlined Workflow: Utilize a standardized approach for C&P exams, focusing primarily on interviews with some physical assessments. No Prescribing or Treatment: These are one-time non-treatment exams, allowing you to focus on comprehensive evaluations. Fast Onboarding & Training: Benefit from a streamlined credentialing process and comprehensive training on Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Technology & Resources: Utilize a secure online portal for completing evaluations and have access to a personal laptop (no Macs) and a goniometer for range of motion testing. Compensation & Benefits: Receive competitive compensation and the opportunity to earn CME credits through DMA certification (if not already certified). We Value Your Expertise: We are seeking board-certified or board-eligible physicians with a strong foundation in general medicine or a related specialty. Experience in musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiac conditions is preferred, along with proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
