Locum Tenens Hematologist/Oncologist Needed near Skippack, PA (j-234566) Are you a board-certified hematologist/oncologist seeking a locum tenens opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic healthcare setting near Skippack, PA? We are actively searching for a qualified physician to join our team and offer compassionate care to patients with both inpatient and outpatient needs. Why You Should Consider This Opportunity: Long-Term Coverage Opportunity with Flexibility: We require a qualified hematologist/oncologist to start as soon as possible. This locum tenens position offers the potential for ongoing coverage while we conduct a permanent search, allowing you to establish connections with patients and colleagues. You’ll enjoy a flexible schedule with weekdays dedicated to clinical care and call coverage rotating approximately 3-5 days per month (evenings and weekends). Diverse Patient Population: You’ll have the opportunity to care for a diverse outpatient and inpatient population, ranging from adults (age 18-99) with newly diagnosed hematologic and oncologic conditions to those requiring ongoing treatment management. Supportive Work Environment and Team: You’ll join a collaborative team, working alongside experienced advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and medical assistants. We offer a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and teamwork. Modern Facility and Technology: Our well-equipped facility utilizes the Epic EMR system. While temporary privileges are not currently available, we will work with qualified candidates to facilitate the credentialing process. Key Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania Board-certified in hematology and oncology (or eligible) Fellowship in hematology/oncology required Current certification in BLS (ACLS preferred) Experience using Epic EMR system (preferred) Schedule and Call Details: Scheduled Clinical Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (clinic and hospital) Call Coverage: Rotates approximately 3-5 days per month (evenings and weekends) Call starts at 4:00 pm (fellow takes first call) Call ends at 8:00 am the following day Additional Information: Admissions are not required for this position. You will participate in rounding for both inpatients and outpatients.
