Locum Tenens Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician Needed ASAP – Ongoing (Near Condon, MT) (j-233249) Are you a board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a supportive environment near Condon, Montana? We are actively searching for a skilled and dedicated physician to join our team and provide supplemental coverage for our growing practice. This locum tenens position offers a diverse caseload in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a call schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance. Diverse Clinical Experience: Expand your expertise by managing a variety of high-risk pregnancies in both clinical and consultative settings. Flexible Schedule with Call: Enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday clinic schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with call coverage to ensure comprehensive care for our patients. Supportive Team Environment: Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including a nurse practitioner, registered nurses, medical assistants, and sonographers, all focused on providing exceptional care to mothers and their babies. Modern Technology: Utilize advanced technology, including Cerner electronic medical records in the hospital and ViewPoint software in the clinic, to ensure efficient documentation and communication. Temporary Privileges Available: While hospital/surgery center privileges are required, temporary privileges can be facilitated to expedite your start date. What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive consultations and prenatal care for women with high-risk pregnancies in the outpatient clinic. Perform a variety of prenatal diagnostic procedures, such as ultrasounds, to assess fetal health and development. Collaborate with referring obstetricians and gynecologists on the development and implementation of personalized management plans for high-risk pregnancies. Participate in morning rounding on admitted inpatients and provide consultative services for complex pregnancy cases within the hospital. Maintain clear communication with patients and families regarding their diagnoses, treatment options, and pregnancy progress. Who You Are: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine in Montana or ability to obtain an Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) privilege. Board-certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) (required). Fellowship in MFM preferred. Current BLS certification (required). A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to women with high-risk pregnancies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. The ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and clinical judgment.
