General Medicine NP Needed for C&P Exams & Separation Health Assessments near Stockville, NE (j-235028) Are you a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) seeking a locum tenens opportunity to provide Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans in a flexible, nationwide program? We are actively searching for dedicated NPs with a background in general medicine to join our team and contribute to Veterans’ healthcare needs. This temporary, locum tenens position offers the chance to work on a PRN basis (as needed) and choose your work style, making it ideal for NPs seeking a flexible schedule. Choose to work full days (8 hours), half days (4 hours), or a combination that fits your needs. Travel or In-Office Options: Select the work style that best suits you. You can travel to Veterans within your own practice or perform exams at designated facilities. Focus on Non-Treatment Evaluations: These one-time exams focus primarily on interviews and physical assessments, with no prescribing or treatment involved. Key Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in Nebraska (active license required) Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is required. Proficient in METs testing and evaluating/diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Ability to use a Goniometer (instrument for measuring joint mobility). Access to a personal laptop (PCs only, no Macs). Additional Information: We offer quick credentialing and onboarding to get you started promptly. Training will be provided on all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). DBQs must be submitted electronically within 48 hours of completing an exam. Evaluations are completed within a secure online provider portal. Some cases require reviewing medical records. Follow-up administrative tasks may be required, such as addendums, medical opinions, and reviewing diagnostic tests.
