What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive C&P exams and SHAs for Veterans, primarily using an interview-based approach with some physical assessments (range of motion, muscle strength testing). Analyze medical records and complete standardized forms within a secure government provider portal. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate assessments and timely reporting of Veteran needs. Complete follow-up administrative tasks such as addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic reviews as required. Who You Are: Active certification as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AANP) (required). Current and active license to practice medicine in Oklahoma (required). Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions (required). Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Comfort and experience with interview-based patient assessments (preferred). Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with Veterans. Access to a personal laptop (excluding MACs).
