Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology NP/PA Needed near Jefferson, OR (j-234797) Are you a qualified nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) specializing in hematology/oncology seeking a locum tenens opportunity to provide compassionate care to patients in a supportive outpatient setting near Jefferson, OR? While there may be days with limited physician support on-site, experienced infusion nurses are readily available to assist with questions regarding ongoing treatments. Key Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon (active license required) Board-certified/eligible in a relevant specialty (NP – AOCNP preferred; PA – Oncology experience preferred) Current certification in BLS Experience using Epic EMR system (preferred) Schedule and Patient Load: Schedule: Consistent 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts (flexible schedule for potential of 2 providers) Patient Load: Manageable; expect to see an average of 12 patients per day Additional Information: Admissions and rounding are not required for this outpatient-focused position. There may be occasional days with limited physician support on-site, but experienced infusion nurses are readily available for consultation.
