Locum Tenens Opportunity for Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Providers near Gig Harbor, WA Specialties: Nurse Practitioner – Cardiovascular Surgery, Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Position Details We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in Cardiovascular Surgery to join our team for locum tenens positions near Gig Harbor, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients in need of cardiovascular services. Schedule Working Hours: Wednesday through Sunday, 10-hour shifts (8-hour shifts are also possible) Weekend Call Coverage: From 7 am Saturday to 7 am Monday Practice Setting Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call EMR System: Epic Patients Per Shift: 10-12 Responsibilities Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Perform rounds on cardiovascular surgery patients. Participate in cardiovascular surgeries as needed. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Licensure: Must be licensed in Washington state or have eligibility for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Board Certification: Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery.
