Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive healthcare services to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies within a fast-paced inpatient setting. Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose illnesses and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide clear and concise communication with patients and their families throughout their emergency care journey. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Epic electronic medical record system. Qualifications: Active and unrestricted California (CA) license as an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory. Experience working in a fast-paced emergency department setting is preferred. Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and critical thinking abilities. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stressful situations and build rapport with patients and families.
