Job Details Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Family Practice Location: Near Glenoma, WA Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialed Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift: Day 5×8-Hour (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) Schedule: Monday-Friday, with Saturday hours optional for overtime rate Work Hours: 8-hour workday with 1-hour unpaid lunch Work Details Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider Receptionist Mental health therapists Dietitians Onsite pediatrician Local healthcare administrator for timecard submissions Coverage Needed: Full-time, 40 hours per week Daily Patient Census: Up to 18 patients; should be comfortable with higher volume and fast-paced environment Patient Population: Newborns to geriatrics; provider should be comfortable working with all ages Department Description: Providers should have experience or express interest in working with vulnerable populations Services for migrants and refugees with interpretative services available Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required Outpatient ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management Consideration for providers available a minimum of 3 days per week if local and do not require housing May care for same-day walk-in patients EMR System: EPIC Special Procedures: Basic procedures including injections, IUD placement, minor wound care Skills Required: Expected to hit the ground running 1-week ramp-up with onsite orientation Begin patient care by day 3 Practice Setting Type: Outpatient ambulatory setting Requirements Board Certification: Required State License: Active WA license required; non-licensed candidates will not be considered DEA Certificate: Active WA DEA required Certifications: To be discussed at the time of credentialing; providers will be responsible for obtaining required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in community health Must have recent face-to-face patient contact within the past year Must have a clean background with no malpractice issues Job ID: j-228132 This locum tenens position offers Nurse Practitioners an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment while making a significant impact on community health.
