Who You Are Board certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine by the ABEM or AOBEM. Valid Virginia medical license is mandatory. A minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in a fast-paced emergency medicine setting is required. You possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a healthcare team. Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for the emergency department, including clinical operations, quality improvement, and physician relations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. Oversee departmental budgeting and resource allocation. Collaborate with hospital administration on strategic planning initiatives. Champion continuous quality improvement and patient satisfaction within the emergency department. Additional Information This is a full-time, employed or independent contractor position with a competitive compensation and benefits package. We are seeking BC Emergency Medicine physicians with a minimum of five years of leadership experience. Relocation assistance and an initial sign-on bonus are available.
