Supportive Team Environment: Collaborate with a robust team of six experienced medical oncologists, two radiation oncologists, four advanced practice providers, certified oncology nurses, a pharmacist, dieticians, behavioral medicine practitioners, palliative care specialists, and supportive primary care partners. Focus on Outpatient Care: Concentrate on managing patients in an outpatient setting, with a strong hospitalist program handling consultations at the associated hospital (no admissions required), streamlining your workflow and reducing administrative burden. Streamlined Technology and Support: Utilize the Epic electronic medical records system for efficient documentation and streamlined communication. Our organization provides the necessary support to ensure you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive consultations, diagnosis, and treatment plans for a wide range of adult cancers. Collaborate effectively with the oncology team to deliver seamless and coordinated care for your patients. Educate and counsel patients and their families about their diagnoses, treatment options, and overall well-being. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within the Epic electronic medical records system. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology and participate in continuing medical education opportunities. Who You Are: Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) with a subspecialty certification in medical oncology (BC) or board-eligible (BE) with a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence. Possess or be eligible to obtain an active state medical license in Washington State. A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The ability to maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records within the electronic medical records system.
