Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Invasive or Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a nationally recognized heart and vascular program in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Position Requirements:
Type of Job: Full-Time Permanent Position
Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school in the United States; Foreign Medical Graduates must pass US Medical Licensing Exams (USMLEx3), Educational Commission for Foreign-Trained Medical Graduates (ECFTMG) certification followed by enrollment in an approved Residency or Fellowship program.
Residency: Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine|Cardiology or Interventional Residency Program
Licensure: MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners

Certifications: Board Certified|Eligible in Cardiology or Interventional Cardiology by ABMS; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by AHA; must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; must be eligible as a provider for Medicare|Medicaid and other Federal Health programs; meet qualifications to participate in hospitals programs as it relates to malpractice and other liability coverage.

Experience: Accepting experienced candidates as well as New Grads (2021 Fellows); J1 Waivers Available
Skills: Advanced analytical skills regarding evaluation and treatment; ability to use professional approach to solving during stressful situations; communication with others that reflects a positive attitude and enthusiasm; behavior that exemplifies organizational philosophy.

Position Details:
Partner with Strongcommunity owned and physician lead Health System, providing comprehensive health care services to more than 600,00 people in a nine-county area of Southern Oregon and Northern California; includes three hospitals, three urgent care centers, a walk- in clinic and medical offices that offer a diverse range of services including primary care, labs, imaging and specialty clinics
Opportunity to Join the Heart and Vascular Program which employs an Innovative Team of cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists and hospitalists.
Access to a 378-bed regional referral and trauma center with State-of-the-art facilities include a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, a dedicated heart center for monitoring patients, seven cardiac catheterization labs, a cardiovascular recovery unit, three operating rooms, and diagnostic imaging services such as echocardiography and cardiac computerized axial tomography
