Now Hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Manager for an organization in beautiful Oregon!

Summary:
The Nurse Manager of Cath Lab Services assumes 24-hour responsibility and assists with the organization, direction, management and evaluation of patient care services for the Cath Lab Services Department.
Reports to the Director and assists with clinical, operational and financial management of the Cath Lab Services departments.
Assists with hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
Assists with development of action plans and may report outcomes to the Director, Chief Nursing Officer, and others as applicable.
Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Promotes, supports, and facilitates the delivery of compassionate, evidence based nursing care to create an optimal patient experience.
Supervises the total nursing care of all patients on the unit(s) of services and gives the appropriate direction to each staff member to provide quality patient care.
Oversees the units operation to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care and to maximize patient, physician, and employee satisfaction.
Evaluates personnel, assesses environment, and determines priorities for care in order to plan, implement, and evaluate outcomes of care.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Must have strong knowledge in Cath Lab Services and other areas as applicable, such as the ICU, CCU, CVICU, PCU, etc.

Experience:
3 years of progressive leadership or supervisory nursing experience required
Previous experience in an interventional cath lab environment required

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required upon start or completed within 6 months of hire
Masters Degree preferred

Certifications | Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon required
State Board of Nursing (or eligible for licensure) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential preferred


Special Skills:
Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrates ability to assess staff needs and develop objective goals.
Basic computer skills and ability to communicate utilizing computers.
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and supervise staff in a designated unit.
