Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist (Registered Nurse) Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Assistance Day Shift + Weekends Call Job Description: The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients within an assigned unit of a hospital, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. They are responsible for total nursing care for all patients assigned to him/her by the Nurse Manager and/or Charge Nurse. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technology or Radiology Technology with a minimum of two (2) years cath lab experience License / Certification / Registry: Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Radiological Technologist-Registered with CI, BLS and ACLS. Additional Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and staff. Possess the knowledge of cath lab procedural theory, techniques and practices as well as cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. Know the definitions and fundamental operation of cardiac hemodynamic monitor systems and electronic medical records.
