This 314-bed regional med-surge hospital is adding an additional Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
The hospital provides comprehensive child and adolescent services including inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient.
Located in East Central Alabama in one of the countrys most unique university towns. The student body consists of nearly 30K.
The Metro area is home to 150K and the regional population is more than 500K. Virtually all amenities are here including SEC sports, theater, academics, outdoor activities and access to Metro areas. You are just 1 1|2 hours from Atlanta and 1 1|2 hours from Birmingham.
The position is a combination of inpatient|outpatient. Outpatient Psychiatry is diverse with clinics in both the hospital and university counseling services.
You will work primarily with the C|A population with a small component of adult psychiatry as well.

This position is specific for a Board Prepared or Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. Requirements then are that the successful candidate would have a degree as an M.D. or D.O. with proved residency training in Psychiatry and a Fellowship in C&A Psychiatry.
