Responsibilities: Performs testing in all departments of the Laboratory and is responsible for permanent projects and extra workload in the Laboratory. Many of these tests are complex, involving numerous skills and techniques, and require the use of professional judgment. Professional application of the principles, theories, and techniques in scientific testing subjects are used to produce consistently reliable test results, which aid the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Qualifications:
baccalaureate degree in the clinical laboratory scientist field.
current California state licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
CPR Certified
professional, well-spoken and outgoing.
strong communication skills, written and verbal.
comfortable working with all levels of personnel.
able to work independently and as part of a team, and to hold self-accountable and stay on task with minimal supervision.
reliable and dependable.
