Direct Hire Position Clinical Lab Scientist IClinical Lab Scientist The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) I position is accountable for performing laboratory procedures using a variety of instruments and procedures. Performs laboratory analyses on blood and various body fluids to obtain data on which a diagnosis of health or disease can be made, and appropriate therapy initiated. Areas of responsibility may include one or more of the following: hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, molecular biology, histopathology, and point of care testing (POCT).REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) a bachelors degree consistent with State of California CLS Licensure requirements; B) a valid California CLS or Specialist License. MT(ASCP) certification preferred. A minimum of 1 year full-time clinical laboratory experience required.
