Clinician owned and operated companythat offers psychotherapy services to clients in subacute, LTC, and assisted living settings throughout New Jersey. We are rapidly expanding and seeking Clinical Psychologists to work with us on a full-time or part-time basis.

Licensed clinical psychologist in the State of New Jersey who has experience with the geriatric population. However, we are now working with other populations so experience preferred but not mandatory. Have experience working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, and interpersonal problems, and life transitions. The ideal candidate would be warm and open, and passionate about helping others. Experience working with adults, couples, and families with strong writing skills. Additionally, we want clinicians who engage in continued training in evidence-based treatment and who utilize a client centered, cognitive behavioral approach. Candidates must be licensed in the state of New Jersey, need to be eligible to be on insurance panels, and carry their own liability insurance policy.
Job Summary:
Performs in-person psychotherapy services with the senior population in a skilled nursing facility. The Clinical Psychologist will focus on individual differences, abnormal behavior, mental disorders, and their prevention and improvement of patient lifestyles. This is realized through counseling and psychotherapeutic services. Serves as a consultant to other healthcare staff.
Qualifications:
Doctorate (Ph.D. or PsyD) from an accredited program in clinical psychology
Licensed as a clinical psychologist according to requirements of New Jersey
Previous experience as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in an outpatient setting preferred
Duties to include:

Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy services with elderly patients and the general population who present with the full range of DSM diagnoses and are often subject to compound stressors and co-morbid medical conditions. Work with patients in long term care facilities, private homes, and using teletherapy platforms. Conduct evaluations and psychotherapy sessions with individuals, couples and families as well as speak to collaterals. Utilize our electronic record keeping system to document client notes and billing. Understand the HIPPA requirements for mental health records and maintain appropriate documentation. Use teletherapy modalities for patients unable to travel to our office.
