This hospital is located approximately 40 minutes South of Columbus/ 1 hour North of Cincinnati. This is wonderful facility to enjoy a top quality of life in a very stable position. Report directly to the CFO, manage a small team, handle the essential functions of the hospital.

POSITION EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in Accounting required, MBA or CPA preferred.

Hospital accounting experience a must. Experience working with HMS system and Kreg Accounting software preferred. Good communication skills. Well organized work habits.



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates activities of Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Ledger
Assists in the establishment of fiscal service goals and objectives. Monitors progress of same.
Provides assistance to hospital department directors in preparing their respective budgets.
Prepares and keys monthly journal entries.
Conducts reconciliation of bank accounts.
Reviews and reconciles assigned general ledger accounts as directed by the C.F.O. and resolves any discrepancies.
Participates in the preparation of hospital financial statements and reports for internal distribution and regulatory reporting. Assists in the identification and analysis of significant fluctuations in asset/liability account balances, and reports findings to C.F.O. for follow-up action.
Provides information and assistance to the external auditors as request to facilitate the audits timely completion.
Assists with preparation of cost reports.
Prepares tax forms such as 941s, state and city income tax reports, and sales tax. Coordinates the preparation of mailing of 1099 and W2 tax forms.
Maintains the computerized fixed asset system.
