(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Medical Technologist – Cytology – NEW Cytotechnologist OR Cytotech Opening at an anatomic pathology & molecular pathology laboratory located outside of Lake City, Florida! This CAP-accredited laboratory specializes in women’s health, urology, gastroenterology, dermatology, plastic surgery and podiatry. This is a permanent and full time position, working primarily Day Shift (8am – 4:30pm) . The Cytotech OR Cytotechnologist is responsible for staining, mounting and studying cells of the human body, under a microscope, to detect evidence of cancer, hormonal abnormalities, and other pathological conditions, following established standards and practices. For consideration, applicants must have his or her B.S. degree in Medical Technology or Cytotechnology (or related field) and an ASCP Certification as a CT.
