ORGANIZATION: Two hospital system, part of national health system
REPORTS TO: President|CEO
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Manages Quality, Patient Safety and Infection Prevention for 310 + beds in two hospitals 7 miles apart. Working, hands-on director: 2 RN Infection Preventionists + 3 analysts.
Develops annual QM work-plan and prepares quarterly and annual evaluation of QM program and plan and presents reports to QM Committee and Medical Executive Committee, Board of Directors, administrative team and health plans as required.
Provides education to staff on quality, patient safety, risk management, and performance improvement..
Assists in formulating and monitoring the budget for the areas included.
Facilitates preparation for review by all regulatory agencies: AOA,*Joint Commission, HCFA, State Health Departments. Devise action plans, educate staff and execute plans.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
BSN|RN required, either AZ RN license or Compact state license
Masters & CPHQ preferred.
Must have director or manager level experience 2-3 years minimum in medical surgical acute care hospital. Worked way up ladder.
SALARY: $120 – $130 Mid Point + BON + RELO
