FAMILY MEDICINE FORT DODGE IOWA
Established Practice
Outpatient practice with optional inpatient work
Current number of providers: 7 total which consists of 4 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practitioners
Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical
Flexible schedule; 36 patient contact hours
Practice Details:
Average # of patients per day: 20-25
Clinic Hours: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Optional inpatient work: ?If desired, you can round on your own pediatric inpatients, otherwise a Pediatrician is responsible for inpatient duties
24|7 Hospitalist Program is responsible for adult inpatient duties
Clinic is connected to the hospital so many services and specialists are onsite
Afterhour outpatient call is split 1:5 and triaged first through the MyNurse call system (average # of calls per night: 0-3 )
General family medicine procedures (joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.)
