Job Overview

(Physician/MD qualifications required) A regional health system is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join a private practice near Atlanta. This practice is a traditional sees patients in the clinic as well as the hospital. Rounds on any practice patients admitted between 8a 9a. Sees patients in the clinic from 9a 5p. One weekend per month of call for the practice. Weekend call: begins Friday, 6pm Monday 7am. Currently there are 3 doctors and 2 nurse practitioners in the practice. Average hospital census 8-16, depending on time of year. Expected office volume average 18 patients/day. Each physician works 4 days/week.
