Family Practice and Obstetrics – Physician Opportunity only

Job Overview

(Physician/MD qualifications required) The Community Health Center has received a Federal grant for Enhanced Medical Services. They are currently seeking two (2) board-certified Family Practitioners to assist in establishing a full scope Family Practice with Obstetrics. The Family Practitioners will be working closely with 2 Certified Nurse Midwives to offer additional service options to our Greater population. They are seeking candidates who are committed to working with this population; Spanish, Portuguese and/or Cambodian language skills are helpful. The center is located just 25 miles northwest of Boston,enjoying the benefits of both a small urban community of 105,000 and the proximity of Boston with its tertiary care. It is projected that about 15% of the developed practice will be pediatrics. Projected deliveries are at 4-5 per month per practitioner. The rest of the practice will be in adults with currently less than 5% geriatrics. This practice, including OB will grow due to increased access by a growing patient caseload.
