Job Overview

As a travel nurse you are required
to have at least 3 years’ experience in an ER or ICU as an RN, required to have
passed our ProctorU exam and interview, and have the following certifications
before hire: BLS, PALS, ACLS and Trauma Certification (PHTLS, ITLS, TNCC,
TPATC).

Schedule: 14 days on/14 days off. You will be required
to travel to the base you are assigned and stay the full 14 days. You will work
a minimum of 7 24 hour shifts on your 14 days on.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an
    accredited School of Nursing
  • Minimum of three
    years’ of recent ICU critical care/emergency nursing experience

 

Licenses & Certificates

  • Current RN
    licenses for states of practice
  • Current
    certifications in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR; ACLS; PALS or equivalent (if
    state or county required)
  • Current
    certifications such as TPATC, TNCC, PHTLS or ITLS (some states may require
    specific trauma certifications for flight nurses)
  • Current specialty
    training or willingness to let us train you in: NRP, FEMA, NIMS, IS 100, 200,
    700, 800 and HazMat training

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN or bachelor’s
    degree in a health-related field
  • Pre-hospital
    experience and flight experience
  • Specialty
    certifications such as CEN, CCRN, or CFRN
