full-time Float Pharmacist to join our team. Listed

Essential Job Duties:
- Identifies
and discusses potential or actual drug interactions or other incompatibility
issues with providers and other clinical staff. - Provide direct support to pharmacy department across multiple pharmacy sites.
- Researches
and suggests most appropriate and affordable medication(s) to meet patient
needs. - Ensures
that all prescription drugs and controlled substances are stored safely and
securely. - Maintains
accurate inventory of medications and implements loss prevention controls. - Educates
patients on how to properly take their prescribed medications. - Assists
patients in solving problems, such as identifying old medications or finding
over-the-counter solutions. - Ensures
safe disposal of infectious and/or hazardous wastes. - Assist with pharmacy department vaccination efforts, as requested as needed.
- Participates
in pharmacy-related committees and meetings and leadership meetings as needed. - Assists
in development of pharmacy operations policies and procedures.
Required Education,
Experience, Certificates & Licenses:
- Graduate from an accredited College
of Pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) preferred - Minimum of three
years pharmacy experience. - Any combination of education and/or experience that
provides the necessary skills and sensitivity - Current Arizona State Board of
Pharmacy Pharmacist License, - Current CPR certification
- Driver’s License and
Proof of Insurance may be required if requesting mileage reimbursement - Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Required Language Skills:
Bilingual in
English and Spanish preferred, but not required
