(Physician/MD qualifications required) Hematology and Oncology – Seeking a Hematology|Oncology physician to join 3 others in a practice in northern New Mexico.
Work Day: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Every fourth week|weekend call (typically taken in a 7 day block).
Single hospital coverage: Weekends and Holidays in-hospital patient care limited to critical care consult follow-ups, emergent new consults, and patients on our service (less frequent and few on average). We do not routinely admit most of our patients. They are admitted to the hospitalist service and serve as consultants.
There is an active Research Program with two CRAs, a pharmacy team with three pharmacy techs and one pharmacist with a dispensing pharmacy and in-house mixing cleanroom, an in-house mid-complexity CLIA certified lab and phlebotomist, and an in-house billing team with expertise in prior authorizations and patient assistance programs. A list of active|completed research studies is available upon request.
