The areas largest provider of laboratory services, is looking for a Histotechnician to perform both routine and complex pathology procedures to prepare tissue and other body specimens for microscopic exam by a pathologist in order to diagnose, detect and identify diseases.
Equipped with the latest medical technology, our Histotechnicians assist a network of more than 20 pathologists and specialty consultants.
Schedule: Full time |1st shift (No weekends or holidays)
Job Description:
Using independent judgment, the successful candidate performs both routine and complex pathology procedures necessary to prepare tissue and other body specimens for microscopic exam by a pathologist, to aid in the diagnosis, detection and identification of diseases.
Requirements:
Must be New York State licensed
Experience as a Histotechnician preferred; will train suitable candidate.
