(Physician/MD qualifications required) Hospitalist- Internal Medicine – Our Client is Seeking Full time Hospitalist both day and Swing shifts
The full-time position involves only hospital work, with no clinic responsibilities. The Hospitalist Physician can expect limited ICU admissions, with no invasive procedures, intubations, or ICU management. There is no major trauma, and the Boston hospitals are resources for tertiary care.
WE have specialists readily available in both hospitals to assist in patient management, as are case managers and other support staff. Hospitalists work 7-on and 7-off, generally alternating blocks between the two hospitals. There is a 12-hour rounding day shift and an admitting swing shift, but no overnight shifts. For those Hospitalists who desire, opportunities may exist for additional day or night shifts. Significant emphasis is placed on patient satisfaction, teamwork, and efficient care.
Salary is competitive, based on training and experience. Malpractice, health insurance, and CME are covered and a 401K is available.
